E. A. Brosnan officiating. The Rev. P. P. Brennan, M. Hartigan, E. P. Gallagher and A. J. Taylor were present. Father Brosnan paid a very high tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang, “Lead Kindly Light,” with E. J. Doran organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of white chrysanthemums and ferns. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were M. Holland, Jacob Leicht, William I. McNamara, John Lockamy, Frederick Soucie, Rufus Parker, W. W. Williford and Charles Emanuelson.
