Coogan, died at her home, Lafayette Residence Park at 7 o'clock a.m. yesterday after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia. The deceased was born in Baltimore, Md., but had resided in this section for fourteen years. She was 41 years old and besides her husband, she is survived by four children and her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Roache, two brothers and four sisters, all of Baltimore. The funeral will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a member at 10 o'clock a.m. Wednesday. **************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Ella Cecelia Coogan, wife of James J. Coogan, was held from St. Mary’s Catholic church, at 10 o’clock yesterday. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of the church. At the conclusion of the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang "Lead Kindly Light.” There was a wealth of beautiful floral tributes, among them a handsome wreath from the Norfolk and Portsmouth Traction Company, with which the husband of the deceased is connected, also a magnificent cross six feet in height from the employees of the railway department of the Traction Company. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: John H. Lesner, J. W. O'Connor, A. C. Cromwell, Maurice G. Long, Charles Hill, Cornelius S. Clark, J. D. Flynn, W. H. Jones and E. B. Wicker.
