Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 19, 2010
BATON ROUGE - Emma L. Riddick Cook, 65, of the 15900 block of Tigerbend Road,
passed away Dec. 9, 2010 in Baton Rouge. Emma was born to the late Johnnie J.
Riddick and Louise Caffee in Princess Anne County, Virginia Dec. 15, 1944. She
predeceased by her sister, Annie Mae Lee.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, William Alfred Cook Sr.; her daughter,
Connie Cook; three sons, Robert C. Riddick, Toney L. Riddick and William A. Cook
Jr.; four sisters, Jenette Morgan, Diane Riddick, Mary C. Shannon, Ronnie
Cowell; four brothers, John Riddick, Marvin Riddick, Andrew Shannon and David
Riddick; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 20, Metropolitan Funeral
Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing
will be today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the funeral home. Family and friends
will assemble at 850 Fremont Ave., Norfolk, one hour prior to the service for
