Norfolk Virginian February 14, 1888

COOK - Suddenly, at his residence, No. 97 Bank Street, at 9 o'clock p.m., 
February 13th, of paralysis, K. COOK, aged 63 years.
Notice of funeral hereafter.

                      Funeral of Mr. K. Cook

The funeral of this well known and esteemed citizen took place from St. 
Paul's P.E. Church yesterday afternoon and was attended by a large number of 
friends and acquaintances of the deceased and the various orders of which he 
was a member.  Rev. Beverly D. Tucker, rector of the church, conducted the 
funeral services, after which the remains were borne to Elmwood Cemetery and 
interred.  The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers:  Col. George Tait, 
Major W.F. Irvine, Capt. H.E. Irby, Messrs. H.C. Percy, Archie McLean, Frank 
Dusch, R. Frank Vaughan, D. Husted and John Zeiler.
