Norfolk Virginian December 14, 1876

                     Death of One of Mahone's Brigade

Yesterday morning Mr. Ezekiel Cook died at the residence of G.W. Bluford, Esq., in 
this city. Mr. Cook was a good soldier of Company A., 6th Virginia Regiment, 
Captain C.W. Wilson, of Mahone's Brigade, and was always in his place and behaved 
gallantly in action. His funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock, from 
the Cumberland Street M.E. Church.
