Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, July 17, 1998 
Cammie Cook, 78, of the 900 block of Mariner St., died July 16, 1998, in a local
hospital.

Born in Charles City, Va., she was a retired nurse from Saint Mary's Infant Home
after 13 years of service and a member of Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Velma Jean Cook of Norfolk; one son, James Andrew
Cook of Norfolk; one sister, Rosa Mealy; 40 grandchildren; and 50
great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three children.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk
Chapel, by W.J. Moore. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
