Rudolph Charles Cook, 70, died Monday, May 26, in a Veteran’s Hospital, New York 
City, following a prolonged illness.

A native of Norfolk, Mr. Cook had lived in New York over seven years. A veteran 
of World War I, he was affiliated with the IBPOE of W., Sons of Norfolk and was 
a former member of Garretts Temple Church.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Cook, New York City; two sons, 
Anthony, New York City, and Rudolph, Norfolk and Portsmouth; 13 grandchildren, 
two great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at King’s Funeral 
Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
