COOKE, MRS. BESSIE BEALL ANDERSON – In a local hospital, Tuesday, MRS. BESSIE 
BEALL ANDERSON COOKE, daughter of the late James Dorrot and Mrs. Elizabeth Beall 
Stephenson Anderson, in the 76th year of her age. The body will be taken from H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Selden Chapel of Christ and St. Luke’s 
Episcopal Church for funeral services THURSDAY MORNING at 11 o’clock. Burial, 
Elmwood Cemetery. The family requested that flowers be omitted.
