Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch October 11, 1958
COOKE, RICHARD DICKSON – At the residence, 517 Warren Crescent, Friday, October 
10, 1958, at 4:30 p.m., RICHARD DICKSON COOKE, husband of Mrs. Fannie Royster 
Cooke, and son of the late Merritt T. and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dickson Cooke, in 
the 79th year of his age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Ave., to the First Presbyterian Church for services 
SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
