COOKE, JAMES PALMER, SR. — At a local hospital, Monday, April 13, 1953, at 4:10 
a.m., JAMES PALMER COOKE, SR., husband of Mrs. Lonnie Agnes Cooke and son of the 
late Joseph and Mrs. Sarah Henry Cooke, in the 52d year of his age. Services will 
be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, WEDNESDAY 
MORNING at 11 a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. 
Mary's Cemetery.
