Barbara A. Cooke of the 1100 block of Oaklawn Ave., died April 10, 2003 in 
Oakwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Virginia Beach. 

She was born in Norfolk and retired from the Navy Exchange as a supervisor. She 
was a member of St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 1615 Issac St., Norfolk. 

Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Cooke of Norfolk; her mother, Waltina 
Tabron of Norfolk; two sons, Thomas (Tee) Cooke and Tory Cooke of Norfolk; a 
sister, Jane Nell Brown of Newport News; a brother, Charles Jones of Glen Arden, 
Md.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and 
cousins. 

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in St. Paul Church of God in 
Christ, 1615 Isaac Road, Norfolk, by Dr. Wilbert Daniels. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Fitchett Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge.
