Hudson H. Bobbitt officiating. He died April 14 at his residence after a long illness. A Virginian Railway car runner for over 35 years, Mr. Cook was a native of La Crosse, VA, but had been a resident of Norfolk for more than 40 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lamberts Point and was for many years a member of the male usher board there. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cammie C. Cook; five sons, Davis and Grayson Cook of New York City and Charles A. Cook, Jr. and James and Larry Cook of Norfolk; a daughter, Miss Velma J. Cook of Norfolk and a step-son Bernard E. Banks. The Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
