Virginian Pilot February 26, 1987

Roosevelt Cooley, 54, of the 1000 block of Kenton Ave., died Feb. 21, 1987, in a 
hospital.
Mr. Cooley, a North Carolina native, retired from the City of Norfolk.  He was a 
Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Mae Cooley; a daughter, Dora A. Cooley of the 
Bronx, N.Y.; a son, Norris R. Cooley of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, James Cooley 
of the Bronx; and several grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Twilight Funeral Home by the 
Rev. J.B. Sharp.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Viewing will begin today.
