Parks, 1606 DeBree Avenue, last night at 9 o’clock. Mrs. Cooney was a native of Ireland, and a resident of Norfolk for the past two years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J.R. Nichols of Bedford; Mrs. C.W. Parks, of Norfolk, and Mrs. R.H. Campbell, of Fortress Monroe; two sons, John Cooney, of Pittsburgh, and E.J. Cooney, of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Meehan, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Kate Meehan, of Ireland, and Mrs. John Henry, of Cincinnati, Ohio. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements.
