Norfolk - Mrs. Susie J. Cooper of 2628 Liberia Drive died Sunday in a 
nursing home.

A native of Snow Hill, NC, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Mrs. 
Phoebe Jackson and the widow of Willie Cooper.

She was a member of Campostella Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Mattie Shaw of LaGrange NC.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Campostella Heights 
Seventh-Day Adventist Church by the Rev. Harold Brewer. Burial will be in 
the family plot of Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

The family will assemble at the home of Mrs. Ida Hunter of 929 Mapole Ave.
