Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 30,1946
William Cooper - Funeral services for William Cooper, who died Nov. 23, were  
held at the Chapel Funeral Home Nov. 26 with the Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter 
officiating.  Mr. Cooper is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Cooper;  two 
sons, one daughter, three sisters, a mother, and twenty-two grandchildren.

Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery with the Chatman Funeral Home directing.
