Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jan 4,1958

Clarence Cooper, 132 Berkley Avenue Ext., died in a local hospital December 18 
at the age of 50 after a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie B. Cooper, one sister, Miss Beatrice 
Blount;  one brother, Howard Cooper, Portsmouth.

Funeral services were conducted December 22 at Baker Funeral Chapel.  Rev. F. P. 
Wise, pastor of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, delivered the eulogy.  Burial was in 
Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Baker’s Funeral Home was in charge.
