NORFOLK — Mrs. Belle Marable Cooper, 73, of 700 W. Princess Anne Road, the widow 
of Lewis M. Cooper died Thursday in a hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she lived in Washington a number of years. She returned 
here several years ago, after the death of her husband.
Her parents were William Ashby and Mrs. Maria Trench Marable. She was a member 
of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Sterling G. Williams of Norfolk. A funeral service 
will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will be at 7730 Dunfield Place.
