Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch February 4, 1939
COOPER, HENRY CORNELIUS – At a local hospital, Friday afternoon, February 3, 1939, 
at 1:30 o’clock, HENRY CORNELIUS COOPER, husband of Mrs. Lillian May Cooper, and 
son of the late James Samuel and Mrs. Emily Flora Cooper, aged 71 years. Funeral 
services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, Westover 
avenue at Manteo street, SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 o’clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood cemetery.
