Norfolk Virginian August 31, 1886
COOPER – Yesterday, at 12 m., at the residence of her mother, after a short 
illness, Miss MATTIE E. COOPER, daughter of Mary Ann and the late Samuel R. 
Cooper, aged 17 years.
The funeral will take place from the residence, No. 7 Brewer street, THIS 
(Tuesday) AFTERNOON at half-past 3 o’clock. Friends and acquaintances of the 
family are respectfully invited to attend.
