Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 19, 1923
Mrs. Virginia A. Cooper, aged 69, wife of F.M. Cooper, and daughter of the late 
David and Mrs. Frances Cason Ives, died yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the 
residence, 1007 Tunstall avenue.  She had been a resident of this city for the 
past 23 years and had scores of friends in this section.  Her illness was of a 
few days' duration and her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband; one brother, L.P. Ives, of South Norfolk 
and two sisters, Mrs. E.L. Etheridge, of this city and Mrs. A.J. Buskey, of New 
Bern, N.C.  Funeral services will be held from the funeral apartments of E. Lee 
Cox, 346 West Twelfth street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be 
conducted by the Rev. R.J. Dogan and the Rev. J.T. Riddick.  Burial will be in 
Riverside Cemetery.
