Virginian-Pilot, November 2, 1901
Mrs. Eliza C. Cooper, wife of Mr. Arthur S. Cooper, of this city, died at the 
home of her husband, No. 11 Yarmouth Street, at 5:15 p.m. yesterday in the 51st 
year of her age. The funeral will be held from the residence at 1 o'clock p.m. 
Sunday. Mrs. Cooper was a woman of many excellent traits of character, a 
consistent Christian and constant friend. Her many friends will learn with 
sorrow of her death
