Mrs. Naomi Lee Charity Cooper, 54, of 1317 W. 42nd street died Tuesday at 11:25
p.m. at her residence after along illness.

She was a daughter of Mrs. Lucy Jones Charity, and the late George Charity. She
was the wife of the late Stephen A. Cooper, and was a native of Norfolk.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church where she was active in the
choir.

Besides her mother, surviving are one sister, Mrs. Mary B. Northington and two
brothers, Anthony Charity and Samuel Charity, all of Norfolk.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, Saturday at
2 p.m. by the Rev. Thomas N. Venable, pastor. Burial will be int he family plot
at Calvary Cemetery, with the Hale Funeral Home in charge.
