Virginian-Pilot, August 28, 1914
Mrs. Emma Virginia Cooper, wife of E. T. Cooper of 311 W thirteenth Street, 
died at 5:30 p.m. yesterday. She was 64 years old. Her illness was of long 
duration. She was a member of the Christ Church. She leaves three sons, H. M. 
Cooper and C. L. Cooper of Norfolk, and W. L. Cooper of Washington, D. C. She 
also leaves three grandchildren, Leroy P. Cooper and Mrs. Ada Cooper of 
Washington, D. C., and Miss Emma V. Cooper of Norfolk. She was a most estimable 
lady.
