Norfolk Landmark Friday January 23, 1914


Sidney A. Cooper died at 7 o’clock yesterday morning at the residence of his 
mother, Mrs. Emma J. Cooper, Thirty-Eighth Street, Lamberts Point, after a 
lingering illness. He was 35 years old. He was the son of Emma J. and the late 
Henry Cooper. He is survived by his mother.
The funeral will take place at the above residence at 2:30 o’clock this 
afternoon. Services will be conducted by Rev. H.J. Paylor of Zion Methodist 
Church, assisted by Rev. J. McKaughan of Burrow’s Memorial Baptist Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
