The funeral of James M. Cooper took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock 
from the late residence, on Smith Street extended, and was conducted by Rev. 
T.J. Taylor, of the Queen Street Methodist Church. He was a member of Lenate 
Tribe of Red Men of Wilmington, Del., and the obsequies were attended by 
Minewa Tribe of this city. There were handsome floral tributes. The interment 
was in Elmwood, the following being the pall-bearers:
Red Men-B. McNally and John Butt
Citizens-S. Spry, H.B. Joynes, John Hill and Walter Walker
