Virginian-Pilot May 6, 1962
BAYSIDE — Mrs. Blanche Haines Copeland, 79, of 371 Copelands Lane, widow of 
George K. Copeland and daughter of John and Mrs. Belle Marshall Haines, died in 
a Norfolk hospital Saturday at 2 a.m.
A native of Paynesville, Minn., she lived in this vicinity 64 years. She was a 
member of Old Donation Episcopal Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Louise C. Lee; a granddaughter, Miss Betty Ann Lee, a student at VPI, 
Blacksburg; and a grandson, George Lee, of Bayside.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at 2 p.m. 
today by the Rev. Beverley D. Tucker Jr., of Old Donation Episcopal Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
