Norfolk Ledger Dispatch November 3, 1954

Mrs. Rose Marie Coppola, 68, widow of Frank Coppola and daughter of Vincent and 
Mrs. Marie Catherine Russo Lascara, died yesterday at 11:15 a.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
Mrs. Coppola was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 364 West 13th 
Street at the time of her death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Esther Grillo, of Norfolk; a son, Vincent A. 
Coppola, of Portsmouth; two grandsons and two granddaughters; one sister, Miss 
Cecelia Lascara, of Norfolk; four brothers, Frank W. Lascara, Dominic P. Lascara 
and John B. Lascara, of Norfolk and Dr. Vincent E. Lascara, of Newport News.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Rose Marie Coppola — Funeral services for Mrs. Coppola, widow of Frank 
Coppola, who died Tuesday, were conducted at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 
yesterday- at 10 a. m. by the Rev. Richard Rivard. The Rev. Thomas J. Walsh and 
the Rev. Peter Schouten were present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Comdr. Vincent A. Lascara, Vincent Edward Lascara, Anthony 
Lascara, A. S. Carpenito, S. T. Carpenito and Jack Caleo.
