Blake Road, widow of Charles Edward Corbell Sr. and daughter of James K. and Mrs. Sarah Martin, died in a hospital Saturday at 1:50 a.m. A native of York County, she lived in Norfolk 66 years. She was a member of Colonial Avenue Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, John W. Corbell of Norfolk, Charles Edward Corbell Jr. of Pilot Mount, N.C., and Willis M. Corbell of Roanoke; a sister, Mrs. Maude Thomas of Hampton; five grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Joseph L. Stone of Colonial Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
