Blake Road, the husband of Mrs. Addie Mae Frankenberger Corbell and a son of the late Charles E. and Mrs. Lula Martin Corbell, died in a hospital Monday at 2:30 p.m. He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was a member of Elizabeth Masonic Lodge 34 and was a Methodist. Until his retirement in 1969, he worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard 28 years. Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Claudia Corbell Tanner of Hampton; and two brothers, Willis Corbell of Roanoke and Charles E. Corbell of Pilot, N.C. The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
