Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 21, 1945

Miss Katie Corbett, daughter of the late John and Mrs. Mary Delaney  Corbett, a 
native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Wednesday at 10:45 p.m. at the 
residence of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Clark, 1028 Tunstall Avenue.
She is survived by one niece, Mrs. M.T. Blassingham, of Norfolk and a number of 
great nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services Saturday at 10 
a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at 
the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 7:30 p.m.

Miss Katie Corbett — Funeral services for Miss Corbett, daughter of the late 
John and Mrs. Mary Delaney Corbett, who died Wednesday night, were held 
yesterday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. E. C. Kiefer 
officiating. The Rev. P. C. Blackburn was present in the sanctuary. Interment 
was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sam Crowling, Kenneth Ferris, 
Joseph Ferris, John Ferris, Charles Volmer, J. O. Waller, Ben Murden and Edward 
L. Clark.
