Corbett, aged 74, son of the late John and Mary Corbett, died at a local hospital last night at 8:30 o'clock. Mr. Corbett was a native of Portsmouth and a resident of Norfolk for a number of years. He is survived by two sisters, Miss Katie Corbett and Mrs. R.J. Clark, both of Norfolk and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was removed to H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements. ******************************************************************************** John F. Corbett — Funeral services for Mr. Corbett, son of the late John and Mary Corbett, whose death occurred at 8:30 o'clock Saturday night at a local hospital, were held at the residence, 1038 Tunstall avenue, with the Rev. M. J. Molloy, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with clusters of dahlias, gladioluses and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were E. H. Beazley, Louis Lawson, Lawrence Kelly, Z. B. Capps, J. S. Thatch, John A. Butt, Michael Harrity, and Charles O. Cherry.
