The deceased was a native of Danville, Va. but had been a resident of this city fourteen years. He was a son of Mrs. Martha Rodenhizer Corbin and the late T.J. Corbin. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anne Corbin, two brothers, G.L. Corbin, Richmond and W.B. Corbin, Rocky Mount, N.C. and seven sisters, Mrs. Mamie Jones, Mrs. J.L. Browder, Mrs. Jannie C. Jones, Mrs. Minnie Opper, Danville, Va., Mrs. Robert Buchanan and Mrs. J.J. Wilson, Portsmouth and Mrs. P.C. Wray, Norfolk. Mr. Corbin was a conductor on the Norfolk Southern Railroad and was well known in this section. The funeral will be conducted from the home on Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
