Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 16,1970
Norfolk - Funeral services were held recently in Hale Funeral chapel for Mrs. 
Josephine Corey of 1311 E. Olney road.  The Rev. R. J. Alston officiated.  
Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home n charge.

The Norfolk native was a daughter of the late John and Mrs. Jane Spikes and the 
widow of Joseph Corey.  She was a former member of First Baptist Church, Bute 
Street.

Four nieces and one nephew survive.
