Virginian Pilot June 29, 1990

Mattie Rackley Corleto, 94, died June 27, 1990, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Corleto, a native of Fayetteville, N.C., was the widow of Joseph L. Corleto 
Sr. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a charter member of 
Daughters of Isabella. She was a former member of the board of directors of St. 
Mary's Infant Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy M. Corleto of Norfolk; three sons, Joseph 
L. Corleto Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., Louis P. Corleto of Turnersville, N.J., and 
Vincent D. Corleto of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. A Christian wake service will be 
at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, and friends may join 
the family afterward.
Memorial donations may be made to DePaul Hospital or to a favorite charity.
