He was 45 years old. Mr. Corleto was a native of Italy, but had lived in Norfolk during the past 26 years and was well known and esteemed. He was a member of the Italian Benevolent Society of Norfolk and the Italian American Citizens' Association of Portsmouth and Italian Independent Association of Norfolk and also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, six sons, Felix, Joseph, Rocco, Louis, Antonio and Frank Corleto, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. A. Caprio of Portsmouth, Va.; Mrs. F. ReDavid and Mrs. Grace DeMattea of Italy. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock Friday morning. ******************************************************************************** The funeral of Louis Corleto took place at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church and was largely attended, the various Italian societies of which he was a member, being present in a body, with a band of music. Services were conducted by Rev. P.P. Brennan. Mrs. James Hughes sang "Abide With Me." Many handsome floral designs were received, among them being a standing wreath from the Ladies Italian Society, a standing wreath from the Italian Independent Association, a wreath and easel from the Italian Citizens' Association of Portsmouth and a cross from the Italian Benevolent Association. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joseph Caprio, J.S. Pesce, Rocco Rossano, Joe Grillo, Antonio Albano, Frank Lograsso, Joseph Tretola and L. DiGiralamo.
