James Lawrence Corley, Confederate States of America, and daughter of the late John and Catherine Riddell, died at 1:45 o'clock this morning at the residence, 209 Duncan Avenue, after an illness of about a week. She was a native of Nantucket, Mass. and had been a resident of Norfolk for 60 years. She is survived by one son, Lawrence Heth Corley; two grandchildren, Mrs. Donald James, of Norfolk and Mrs. J. O'Keefe, of Baltimore and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Corley was for many years a member of St. Paul's Church. Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, No. 610-612 East Freemason Street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Vincent C. Franks, D.D., rector of St. Paul's Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
