Virginian Pilot December 10, 1911

The funeral  of Eugene J. Cornick, whose death occurred at his home, No. 9 
Rowland Avenue, Friday, after an illness of twelve months in the forty-seventh 
year of his age, will be held from the Queen Street Methodist Church at 3 
o'clock this afternoon and will be attended by Vandalia Lodge, I.O.O.F. and 
Industry Council, Jr. O.U.A.M and Eagles, of which the deceased was a member. 
The services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Fred G. Davis and his former 
pastor, Rev. J.J. Bradford.
Mr. Cornick is survived by a widow and two children: Miss Flossie Cornick and 
Archie J. Cornick; also two sisters, Mrs. Z.T. Duffy, of Norfolk and Mrs. 
William Diggs, of Princess Anne; and two brothers, James T. Cornick, of Norfolk 
and Joel Cornick, of Princess Anne.
