Norfolk - Mrs. Mary Allen Cornick of 818 Reservoir avenue died in her home after 
a brief illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of John E. Cornick and a daughter of the 
late Mr. and Mrs. John Allen.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and its Missionary Circle and Busy Bee 
Club.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Suffolk, Mrs. Mildred 
McNiell of Washington, and Mrs. Elaine Walker of Norfolk;  six grandchildren;  
and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. J. H. Foster.  Burial 
was in Calvary Cemetery.  Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, was in charge of 
arrangements.
