Norfolk - Final eulogistic services were held Sunday, July 30 for Miss Mildred 
(Woosee)Cornick of 526 Nicholson street who died in Norfolk General Hospital 
after a short illness, at St. Mary’s Holiness church with the Rev. Lionel 
Anthony officiating.

Miss Cornick was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Mrs. Henrietta Cornick.  
She was manager of Mrs. Beatrice Alphert’s Market for over twenty years.

She was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Eureka Lodge and Topaze Social 
and Savings Club.

Besides her mother surviving are an aunt and numerous cousins ad other relatives 
and friends.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery  with Graves Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
