Virginian-Pilot, February 18, 1879
Mrs. Mary H. Cornick, widow of the late Captain James Cornick, died at her 
residence on Bermuda Street, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, after a brief 
illness. Her demise follows close upon that of her beloved husband, whose 
departure from our midst so recently threw a sorrow over the minds of his 
numerous friends and admirers. Mrs. Cornick was in the 78th year of her age. 
Her funeral will take place from Christ Episcopal Church, today, at 12 P.M.
