Norfolk Virginian November 14, 1890
Mrs. David Corprew died yesterday morning at her home on Lovitt avenue, 
Brambleton, at the advanced age of 73. She was among the oldest residents of 
Norfolk, and had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for more than 
thirty years. Her husband, the late Mr. David Corprew, died several years ago. 
Mrs. Corprew, before her marriage, was a Miss Bartee, of Princess Anne county, and 
was a woman of great character and kindly disposition. Her funeral will take place 
from her late residence this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock.
