Norfolk - Mrs. Ethel Correy of 2820  Woodland avenue, the widow of Edward Correy 
Sr., died in a hospital, Saturday, March 18.  A native of Norfolk, she was a 
daughter of the late Orine and Mrs. Elizabeth Stevenson.

She was a Missionary of Garrett’s Community Church, member of Independent 
Daughters of Norfolk One, Daughters of Evening Star Two, and Palm Leaf 
Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Edward Correy Jr., of Norfolk;  and an adopted sister, Mrs. 
Ophelia Robinson of New Jersey.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 23 at 2 p.m. in Garrett’s Community 
Church with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
