NORFOLK - Doris Decker Cory, 70, of the 8200 block of Nathan Ave., passed away 
peacefully in her home, Sept. 29, 2003, to be with the Lord, as well as her 
beloved husband, Laurence; her parents, Rose and Peter Decker; her sister, Mary 
Anne Zoby; and her brother, Phillip Decker.

Mrs. Cory was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She was a member of St. 
Pius X Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include three daughters, Rosemary Froehlich, and her husband, Daniel, 
Catherine Cory-Jones, and her husband, Jerry, Elizabeth C. McKay, and her husband, 
David; a son, Laurence Michael Cory, of Norfolk; a nephew, John Anthony Zoby; 
sister, Catherine Lee John; and three brothers, George P. Decker, Joseph M. Decker 
and Peter G. Decker Jr., all of Norfolk; and three granddaughters, Catherine Cory 
Verdier, and husband, James, Kristen Elizabeth Froehlich, and Caitlin Lee McKay; 
10 nieces and nephews; and 14 grandnieces and grandnephews; as well as many other 
relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X 
Catholic Church. Burial will be private at St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christian wake 
will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk chapel, today at 7 p.m.
