NORFOLK — Laurence Cory, 61, of the 8200 block of Nathan Ave., a foreman, died 
Nov. 28, 1988, in his home
Mr. Cory, a native of Norfolk, was employed by the Naval Air Rework Facility. He 
was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Decker Cory; three daughters, Rosemary C. 
Froehlich, Catherine Lee Cory and Elizabeth A. Cory, and a son, L. Michael Cory, 
all of Norfolk; a sister, June C. Capps of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Pius X 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Charles A. Saglio. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will begin at 7 p.m. today in H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
