Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 29, 1939

Owen Jerome Cosgrove, aged 72, husband of Mrs. Maggie Bellingham Cosgrove, and 
son of Peter and Mrs. Margaret Hughes Cosgrove, well known retired contractor, 
died at 2:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence, 817 West Fifty-second 
Street. Mr. Cosgrove was a native of Richmond and had been a resident of Norfolk 
35 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louis Talley 
and Mrs. Wallace Norfleet; a grandson, Louis Talley, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. George 
Lufsey; a brother, Peter Cosgrove and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Thursday 
morning at 11:30 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary 
services will be held at the residence, tonight at 9 o'clock.

Owen Jerome Cosgrove — Funeral services for Mr. Cosgrove, whose death occurred 
Tuesday at the residence, 817 West Fifty-second street, will be held at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church this morning at 11:30 o’clock. Interment will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
