A lifelong resident of South Norfolk, she was a daughter of William and Mrs. Amelia Chapin Niven and widow of Lawrenceson Clifford Costen. She was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Myra C. Kibler of Jackson, Tenn., and Mrs. Louise C. Kelley of South Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Emma Iona Woods of South Norfolk; three granddaughters, Miss Jacqueline Van Baars of Norfolk County and Miss Myra Kibler and Miss Karolyn Kibler of Jackson, Tenn.; and two great-grandsons, Eric Van Baars and Sven Van Baars of Norfolk County. A funeral service will be conducted in Graham Funeral Home Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Russell G. Flaxman of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
