Elizabeth M. Costigan, 93, died April 10, 2000, in her residence.

Ms. Costigan was born in New York City and was the daughter of the late William 
Costigan and Margaret Corcoran.

She was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach and a member 
of its choir. She was a former member of St. Sebastians Catholic Church in 
Woodside, N.Y., and was retired from the Far East Missions in New York.

In 1996, Elizabeth celebrated her 50th Jubilee as a member of the Third Order of 
St. Francis.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, including the Fox, Costigan, and 
Twomey families, as well as Glen and Margaret Perkins and family of Virginia 
Beach.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Star of the 
Sea Catholic Church by Father Anthony Morris. Burial will be at St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is 
handling arrangements.
