Funeral services for Miss Ellen Madoria Coston, 877 Lexington street, who died
at her home Tuesday, Dec. 2, were at First Baptist Church, Bute street, Sunday,
Dec. 7, at 1:30 p.m. with the pastor, Dr. R. H. Bowling, and his associate, the
Rev. Joseph Pruden, officiating. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery with
King’s Funeral Home in charge.

Miss Coston is survived by her mother, brother, sister, half brother,
brother-in-law and three aunts.

Among the out-of-town persons attending the funeral were Mrs. Jennie V. Ruff,
Mrs. Lillian R. Lee, and Gloria Sheridan of Baltimore, MD; Mr. and Mrs. James
Spady, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Powell, Mr. and Mrs. James Douglass, Miss Ruth
Sankett, Emery Emerson Lindsey, Alfonsa Fitchett, Cape Charles, VA; Mrs. Mary F.
Pitts, and Robert L. Smith.
