Virginian Pilot December 15, 1966

Mrs. Mary Anne Cote, 82, of 616 Graydon Ave. died Wednesday in a hospital.
She was the widow of Edward L. Cote and a daughter of James and Mrs. Catherine 
D. McDermin
A native of Norfolk, she lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of 
the Sodality of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving is a son, William G. Cote of Norfolk.
The Office of the Dead will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight 
at 7:30.
A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Friday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

COTE, MRS. MARY ANNE — In a local hospital, Wednesday, MRS. MARY ANNE COTE, 
widow of Edward L. Cote and the daughter of the late James and Mrs. Catherine D. 
McDermin, in the 83rd year of her age. Office of the dead will be recited in the 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services 
will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
